Hero Glamour BS6 Vs Glamour BS4 Model: Which One Is the Best
We all are aware that the automobile companies have started updating their products with the BS6 engine. Recently, the Indian two-wheelers manufacturer Hero has launched the BS6 version of its popular 125cc bike Hero Glamour in the Indian market. Glamour is a mid-range bike that is very much popular in India. Old Glamour BS4
Engine and power: The two versions of Glamour are powered by a BS-4 standard emission 125cc engine. This engine generates a torque of 11Nm with a power of 11.4bhp. Both engines are equipped with a 4-speed gearbox. This bike’s engine uses i3S technology with a stop-start.
FEATURES: It has an instrument cluster with a semi-digital layout and the rest of the bicycle parts of the bike have been given black color. It is 3 kg lighter in weight than the old glamour. In addition, it has been given semi-double cradle-type chassis.
Price: The old glamour used to start from Rs 59,280 and go up to Rs 69,908.
New Glamour BS6
Engine and power: The manufacturers of the bike have not revealed the Glamour 125 BS6 power and torque but it is being said that this bike will be equipped with fuel-injected 125cc BS6 engine which generates 19 percent more power than the first generation of glamour. If we talk about old glamour, it generates a maximum power of 9PS at 7000 rpm. The hero has replaced the 4-speed gearbox in this bike and has given it a 5-speed gearbox.
FEATURES: The big claim made by Hero regarding this bike is about its suspension. Actually the company has said that the new suspension has been given on this bike. It will help the rider to feel more comfortable than the old bike. The bike manufacturers have also claimed that the new BS6 bike will be more stable than the BS4 bike because it has 100mm wide tires.
This bike has a special crawl function as given in TVS’s new Apache bike. Also, this time the bike has a start and stop system, with a big feature is its real-time mileage indicator.
Price: Talking about the price, the new Glamour BS6 can be purchased between Rs 68,900 (Delhi ex-showroom) to Rs 72,400 (Delhi ex-showroom).
