Hero Launches Super Splendor BS6
The Hero Super Splendor BS6 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 67,300 (ex-showroom). The Hero Super Splendor BS6 has been introduced in two variants, with a self-drum alloy wheel variant priced at Rs 67,300 and a self-disc alloy wheel priced at Rs 70,800.
The Hero Super Splendor is powered by a BS6-compliant 125 cc engine, coupled with programmable fuel injection with the XSens technology, which the company claims provides 19 percent more power.
This engine provides 10.7 Bhp of power at 7500 rpm and 10.6 Newton meter of torque at 6000 rpm. It has a 5-speed gearbox. The company’s I3S technology has also been added to it.
The new Hero Super Splendor has a new chassis and new suspension in addition to the BS6 engine. The ground clearance of the bike has been increased to 180 mm and a larger seat has been given.
For braking, the Hero Super Splendor BS6 has a 240 mm disc brake, along with a 130 mm drum brake at the back. The combined braking system is given in it as standard.
The company has also made the new Hero Super Splendor available in dual-tone color options. The bike is available in four color options including new color options Metallic Nexus Blue and Glaze Black, Heavy Gray, Candy Blazing Red.
