Vespa Electric Scooter Elettrica To Be Available In June 2020
The Vespa Elettrica electric scooter is to be launched in India soon. It is estimated that the electric scooter will be made available in the Indian market by June 2020.
The Aprilia RS 660 will also be brought to India along with the Vespa Elettrica, with these models to be brought as a fully built unit from the company’s Italy-based factory.
The Vespa Elettrica may be the first electric scooter of the brand, it was recently introduced at the Auto Expo 2020. It will be given retro design, circular headlamps like the other scooters but will be fitted with an electric motor at the back.
This electric scooter will be equipped with a DC motor that is connected to a 4.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. Together, it provides 4 kW of power and 200-newton meters of torque.
The company has given a 4.3-inch TFT digital dashboard, along with Bluetooth for connectivity. Voice commands, notifications, etc. can be obtained from this.
This electric scooter is going to compete with Bajaj Chetak Electric, Ather 450X in the Indian market. Apart from this, Aprilia RS 660 has to be brought which is very much discussed in the international market.
The Aprilia RS 660, a sports bike, has a 660 cc parallel-twin engine, which provides the power of 100 bhp. Aprilia RS 660 was first introduced in the EICMA 2019.
