Yamaha YZF R15M to be Launched Soon

Yamaha YZF R15M is going to be launched in the market soon. But before its launch, the new ‘M’ version of Yamaha R15 was showcased by the company. Recently the company had did an exclusive event for its dealers.

In this event, the company presented its upcoming Yamaha R15M in front of its dealers. During the event some of its pictures has been revealed and in these pictures some changes made in Yamaha YZF R15M can be seen. Many cosmetic changes have been made in this bike.

The biggest change has been made in its headlight. The twin-eye headlight on the new Yamaha R15M has been replaced by a new single-pod projector headlight unit, which is reminiscent of the Yamaha MT-15 and Yamaha FZX-25. Another thing that will catch your attention in the new Yamaha YZF R15M is the new USD forks that have been painted gold. This set-up gives the bike a sportier overall look.

Coming to the side profile, most of the panels on the Yamaha YZF R15M here are taken from the existing Yamaha YZF R15. Though fitted in, the exhaust feels stiffer and has been used with a more premium metallic finish At present there is no information about the changes that Yamaha has introduced in the new Yamaha YZF R15M on the standard version. However, it is believed that some minor changes can be made to differentiate this bike from the standard model.

Talking about these changes, one of the biggest changes can be its instrument console, as the company can now feature Bluetooth connectivity in it. However, it is still not known about the features that will come with this connectivity technology.

Coming to the engine, the standard Yamaha YZF R15 uses a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve petrol engine that makes 18.6 bhp at 10,000rpm and 14.1Nm of torque at 8500rpm . With this a 6-speed gearbox is used. Since the M variant of the Yamaha YZF R15 is a slightly more focused version, the Yamaha YZF R15M is believed to offer slightly more power and torque than the standard model.
