Hyundai Launches Asta variant of Santro with AMT Gearbox
Hyundai has introduced the Asta variant of its hatchback car Santro with an automated manual gearbox (AMT). Hyundai Magna and Hyundai Sportz variants of this car were already launched with the AMT gearbox.
Hyundai Santro is already present in the market with BS6 engine. This car has a 1.1-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine. This engine gives 68 bhp power at 5,500 rpm and 99 newton meters of torque at 4,500 rpm.
With this engine, the company has given a 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic gearbox. Apart from this, the company has also made available its CNG variant. The power of its CNG variant is less than that of the petrol variant.
Its CNG variant provides 58 Bhp of power at 5,500 rpm and 84 Newton meter of torque at 4,500 rpm. The company has made the CNG variant available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Talking about the interior of this car, it has features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play, Android Auto and Mirror Link, reverse parking camera, steering wheel control, electric adjustable ORVM.
Talking about its security features, it has features like Impact Sensing Auto Door Lock, Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock, Rear Parking Sensor and Camera, Dual-Airbags, ABS and EBD.
Along with this, Pedestrian Safety Norms, ISOFIX Child Seat Mounts and Seat Belt Reminder have also been given. Hyundai Santro comes in a total of 7 colors Typhoon Silver, White, Dark Gray, Beige, Marine Blue, Red and Green.
