Hyundai Motor Previews All-New 2021 Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai Motor revealed the first images of the all-new 2021 Elantra. The upcoming seventh-generation Elantra showcases an edgy and aggressive look based on parametric shapes and textures, which reflects Hyundai’s new design identity. The world premiere press conference will take place at 7 p.m. PT on Mar. 17, at The Lot Studios in West Hollywood, Calif. and will be livestreamed around the world.

The livestream, a sneak preview video and teaser images can be viewed at www.hyundai.com/worldwide/ and Hyundai’s social media channels.

The all-new 2021 Elantra’s design accentuates its progressive and exotic character through Parametric Dynamics. Cutting edge engineering solutions and design innovations actualized the polyhedral appearance. Essentially, advanced digital design technology brought the Parametric Dynamics design language to life. Having three lines meet at one point is the main element of Parametric Dynamics. This formation is a daring challenge, which has been avoided in car design, marking Elantra’s disrupter-spirit.

The ‘Immersive Cocoon’ interior layout creates a driver-focused user experience. Low and wide structures go from the door and connect all the way to the center console, while the large interface consisting of two harmoniously integrated displays elevates the racing-inspired feel of the car.

This teaser gives a brief glimpse of Elantra’s design. It can be seen that this car has been given a sharper design than before with the ‘Parametric Dynamics’ design.

This car has an Angular line along with a Sharp and Rising Shoulder line. Talking about the next part, it has a sleek headlight with a large cascading grille.

Talking about the backside, it has full-length taillights that are spread over the width of the entire boot lid. A similar tail light was also seen in the Kia 5 Optima sedan. Hyundai says that the new Elantra will be a 4-door-coupe sporty car.

Apart from this, the company has also shown the cabin of this car in a teaser through the sketch. Its cabin uses white with bright black color and a small amount of red is also used.

Apart from this, a 4-spoke steering wheel and a large instrument cluster can also be seen in the cabin with which the floating infotainment system is connected. The company has not yet provided information about the engine of this car.

The current Elantra in India uses a 2.0-liter petrol engine based on BS6 standards. This engine provides 150 Bhp of power and 192 Newton meter of torque. This engine is provided with a 6-speed manual and torque converter gearbox.

Although there is no information about when the new Elantra will be launched in India, it is believed that it may come to India by the year 2021. In current times, the price of this car is Rs 13.82-18.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
