Jeep Compass 2020 BS6 has been launched in India

The Jeep Compass BS6 has been launched in India. The Jeep Compass BS6 has been made available with both petrol and diesel engine options, priced at Rs 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Jeep Compass BS6, as well as it’s Sport Limited and Limited Option variants, have been removed, now its starting price has gone up to Rs 89,000 more than the BS4 model.

The top variant of Jeep Compass BS6 has been priced at Rs 21.92 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the new Compass has been increased from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1.23 lakh.

With the Jeep Compass BS6 engine now available only in Sport Plus MT, Longitude Option DCT and Limited Plus DCT variants, it will now cost Rs 89,000 more for the basic variant of petrol.

While the diesel model will have to pay Rs 1 lakh more, it is present in the options of Sport Plus, Longitude Option, Limited Plus, Limited Plus 4×4, Longitude 4×4 AT, Limited Plus 4×4 AT and Trailhawk 4×4 AT variants.

Jeep Compass BS6 has been brought with 1.4 liter petrol and 2.0 liter multijet diesel engine. It has a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, in addition to the option of 7-speed DCT in petrol and 9-speed automatic gearbox in diesel.

The Jeep Compass BS6 competes in the Indian market with vehicles such as the Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Mahindra XUV 500, currently launched in a BS6 avatar to its competitors.
