Maruti Suzuki Swift Will Now Be More Powerful [Revealed]

Maruti Suzuki has launched another car Swift based on BS6 emission standards. But now new information has emerged about this car.

The company is going to launch this car with a more powerful 1.2-liter dualjet BS6 engine. According to the information, this engine will replace the existing 1.2-liter 12B and 1.3-liter DDIS diesel engine.

This engine can be like the recently launched Dzire. Talking about the power of this engine, this engine will provide 89 Bhp of power and 113 Newton meter of torque. This power is about 7 bhp more than the current 12B engine.

Apart from this, like the Maruti Dzire, 12 volt mild hybrid system can be removed from the new Swift. It is believed that it can be brought with the start-stop function, which will benefit the mileage.

It is expected that the mileage of the Swift dualjet engine will be the same as the Dzire dualjet. The company claims Dzire’s mileage to be 24.12 kilometers per liter and 23.26 kilometers per liter.

This mileage is of manual and automatic variants respectively. Both these mileage figures are much better than the current Swift mileage. The current Swift mileage is 21.21 km / l.

It is believed that the company can make some cosmetic changes in this car, just like the Swift Dzire. It can be given a new design grille, new bumpers, and new design tail lamps.
